trish, clip and i were sitting downtown having coffee yesterday after dinner. we saw a bit of a commotion out the window. we were sitting right by the window and we could see up above the streets. there were several surveillance drones closing in close to the coffee shop. all of a sudden conventionally armed security came out of nowhere. they pretty much swarmed the street in front of the cafe we were in and just stood there on guard.
we weren't able to see if they apprehended someone. we couldn't really see why they were there at all. clip was losing his mind. he got up and calmly walked into the washroom by the back door of the cafe. i knew if he bolted i would see him later on or today sometime.
fifteen minutes later the security was gone but the surveillance drones remained. i went into the washroom where clip was hiding in a stall. i let him know the commotion was over. we left and walked clip home. trish and i went back to my place and we fooled around while she tried to show me how to place images and thoughts into people's heads.
an interesting evening to say the least.
